Built around the decisions a board actually makes

This resource helps boards and property managers prepare camera and access-control projects: define objectives, organize openings and shared spaces, compare scope and plan the handoff. It is written from an installer’s perspective and openly identifies its publisher.

Clear designs and installs UniFi Protect camera systems, UniFi Access, structured cabling and network infrastructure. The guides are not an independent ranking of installers. If you choose to discuss installation, links take you to Clear’s existing website and inquiry process.

How the guides are prepared

The guides combine practical project-planning frameworks, Clear’s documented project experience and product capabilities checked against current manufacturer documentation. The Marin field example links to the original Clear project account. Product methods depend on the equipment, software and configuration selected for the property.

Illustrative scenes help explain community settings; the field example distinguishes those scenes from documented project facts. No customer names, private property layouts, resident records or entry credentials are published here.

Planning guidance and project pricing

The board planner creates a starting brief, not a final system design or a quote. Clear reviews property conditions before recommending installation scope and pricing. Boards and managers remain responsible for their association’s approvals and operating policies, with the relevant professionals involved where needed.
